Wednesday 19th December 2018 - The Catlins, New Zealand

Dawn till Dusk is a genuine surf & adventure photography experience in my favourite zone, The Catlins in Southland. Spend a day with me exploring this wild and remote part of New Zealand shooting ocean, landscape and adventure lifestyle images.

Knowledge shared during the workshop
–  Equipment and technical camera setup
–  An introduction to mirrorless cameras
–  Photography theory & shooting creatively
–  Ocean, landscape & lifestyle photography tips
–  Forecasting, planning & preperation

–  Workflow & image editing
–  Social media & building relationships
–  Open topic question & answer session
–  Critique of your own photography work
–  Multiple practical shooting sessions

Although the workshop is planned for 1 day only, we will be starting at 5:00am to shoot the sunrise. I will be camping in The Catlins the night before and the evening of the workshop (18th & 19th Dec) and for the full experience I recommend you do the same, although this is not compulsory. You are welcome to meet us early in the morning, but just remember, the sunrise waits for nobody, and neither do I, so don’t be late!

There will be some light hiking, so a moderate level of fitness and some solid footwear is required. Bring your camera, a tripod, a waterhousing (if you have one), camping equipment, food & water and some positive vibes. You will need to have your own transport but car pooling may be possible.

The cost of the workshop is $250 per person. If you’d like to secure your spot fill out the form below and I will send you through payment details. To make sure everyone gets the most out of the workshop I am limiting it to 10 attendants. Once your payment is received you spot is locked in. The payment is not refundable, but is your spot at the workshop is transferable.
